Fall Crown Tournament

Barony of Dun Carraig

With the coming of the Fall season so comes Atlantia’s Crown Tournament! Join Their Majesties in a day of celebration in the Barony of Dun Carraig as the Heirs to the Crown are determined through Deeds of Arms.

Tentative Schedule:

All times are approximate and subject to Their Royal Majesties’ whims

9AM – site opens for the public

Between 10-11 – court and then processional OR processional and then court.

Begin Tourney after (approx 11:30-12?)

PM Court between 3:30-4…depends on when the tourney concludes.

Reminders:

*Crown staff and attendees – for those 18 and older, as per the Kingdom COVID Policy, please have your COVID documents (vaccination cards or proof of negative COVID test within 72 hours of the event) and ID ready to show when you pull up to the Crown Tourney site.  As per policy, we will have a team checking those documents before allowing cars to park to Troll in.  NO DOCUMENTS….NO ENTRY….NO EXCEPTIONS.

*The Crown Tourney site opens at 9AM for the public.

*Lady Freydis is coordinating a Silent Auction at Crown, with proceeds to go to the Kingdom Travel Fund.  Questions, donations of items should contact freydis.rodmarsdottir@gmail.com

*Due to the location of the field, driving onto the field will not be possible.  There will be a drop off point and people to help re-locate items to your dayshade.  

Arts and Sciences

CULTURA ATLANTIA – Open to works of any Art or Science, from the culture being highlighted – in this case, 12th century Irish. Entrants may display a single item, or a group of items, and they may elect to submit them for formal judging, or just for display.

TEMPORE ATLANTIA – Open to works of any Art or Science, from any corner of the world during the time period being highlighted – in this case, 1350 CE – 1500 CE. As with Cultura Atlantia, entrants may display a single item, or a group of items, and they may elect to submit them for formal judging, or just for display.
