Spring Crown Tournament – Letters of Intent
Join us for a grand spectacle of chivalry and honor at our upcoming Crown Tournament! Noble fighters mark your calendars for May 4th as we gather to witness the clash of swords and the determination of champions.
Hosted by Hidden Mountain, our tournament promises thrilling battles, medieval pageantry, and an atmosphere steeped in the traditions of Atlantia. Whether you’re a seasoned warrior or a curious spectator, there’s something for everyone at this prestigious event. Don your finest garb, raise your banners high, and immerse yourself in a day of camaraderie and competition. Come cheer for your favorite fighters as they vie for the honor of wearing the crown and leading our kingdom into a new era. To this end we are now accepting letters of intent please email both the Kingdom Seneschal (seneschal@atlantia.sca.org) and Ourselves (TRM@atlantia.sca.org). Letters of intent close specifically at midnight April 28th 2024. Please note that is the midnight that happens immediately after 11:59 pm 4/27/24.
Tournament Details
This tournament will consist of a round robin with 4 lists, seeded randomly. The top 4 competitors from each list will then compete in a double elimination tournament to determine Atlantia’s heirs. Finals will be the best of 5 matching weapons with the highest fighter in martial op choosing the first weapon style, junior choosing second fight and so on. If a fifth fight is needed the combatants will bring their best weapon form.
Field of Roses
As soon as space can be freed up there will also be a field of roses which allows any combatant the opportunity to meet other like combatants and fight for the honor to send a rose to the recipient of their choosing.
